    JEE Advanced 2018 – Joint Admission Board (JAB) has announced the examination date and schedule of JEE Advanced 2018. IIT Kanpur will conduct JEE Advanced 2018 completely in online mode on May 20. The entrance exam will be a computer-based test (CBT) for the first time as till 2017, the test has been conducted in offline mode. The medium of JEE Advanced 2018 will be English as well as Hindi language. Joint Entrance Examination (JEE) Advanced is the gateway for admission into the IITs and IIT (ISM) Dhanbad and is conducted by one of the seven zonal coordinating (ZC) IITs under the guidance of JAB every year. JEE Advanced 2018 is the second stage test of IIT JEE Main for admissions to B.Tech programmes across 23 Indian Institutes of Technology (IITs). Top 2,24,000 candidates from JEE Main would be eligible to take JEE Advanced for IIT admission. Registrations for JEE Advanced 2018 will tentatively begin from the first week of May till the second week of May 2018. There are 2 papers in JEE Advanced and it’s mandatory for all candidates to take both the papers in order to qualify in the test.     JEE Advanced Eligibility Criteria 2018

    General Eligibility Criteria for JEE Advanced 2018

    The eligibility criteria of JEE Advanced 2018 include eligibility conditions related to age, number of attempts, marks in qualifying examination, number of subjects in qualifying test, etc. Before filling the application, all candidates must carefully check JEE Advanced 2018 eligibility criteria to get complete clarity if they are eligible for the test. All Indian, as well as foreign candidates, are eligible to apply for the entrance exam, however, they meet the JEE Advanced eligibility criteria 2018.

    • Age Limit:General Category candidates must have been born on or after October 1, 1993, while candidates belonging to ST/SC/PwD categories will get 5 years relaxation.
    • Number of Attempts:Candidates can sit for JEE Advanced a maximum of two times in consecutive years.
    • Qualifying Examination:Aspiring candidates are required to have passed their 12th exam in either 2017 or 2018.
    • Earlier Admission at IITs/ISM:Candidates who have been earlier admitted to IITs/ISM will not be eligible to apply for JEE Advanced 2018.
    • Candidates are required to have qualified JEE Main and meet the required cutoff ranks set by the concerned authorities.
